i've never had one, but i've wanted one desperately ever since I saw one on animal planet. that one also only had two front legs & zoomed about with wheels instead of hind legs. awesomest thing ever.
mine didn't zoom about on wheels. she crawled around like an elderly baby. that's the only way to describe it. exactly like an elderly baby.
she has stubs for hind legs, they end at her knees but kitty knees are pretty high up on their legs so her stubs were pretty useless. she crawls around on them, but the ends are really bony and knobby and so it hurts to walk on them so she moves really slowly and carefully. she won't let anything touch them, else we would give her little booties to move around on. she's black with really long soft fur, and she's really small but chubby. the only thing she likes to do is sit around all day and eat food, but, what else is she gonna do? she has no legs.
anyway, we thought about building her a little cart, but we figured she'd go to the bathroom in it all the time, and her stubs are really sensitive and she would freak out if you tried to do anything to them. my ex girlfriend and i found her at pet smart, they have animal shelter kitties there, and we saw her and thought she was cute, she was in a little cat bed and looked normal, then we noticed a sign that said "bailey is a very special cat. she was born without hind legs. all she wants is a nice home, with a warm bed to lie in and someone who loves her." we just about cried, and came back the next day to adopt her.
way, way more than you wanted to know about my two-legged cat, but my ex-girlfriend just brought her by two days ago and i was reminded how much i loved my two-legged cat. i would still have her but my landlord doesn't allow cats, and she tends to pee everywhere, so she'd be much harder to hide than the other cat i'm not supposed to have but do.
